Unironically such a shame we didn't get that, those two would've been a far better couple than those two flamers in STD, plus alien/human > human/human every time.

It makes sense, if I recall correctly both that ship and the Crossfield were based on the cancelled '70s "Phase II" sequel attempt that never got off the ground.
