They could milk the games with extra side stories that shows what possibly happened during the time-skips, instead of making a sequel comic that everyone hates. They could even make a comic about Clem and Kenny and the 2 years they were on their own, fans would eat it up

if i had to guess each s2 episode was supposed to end with a cabin person dying
s2e1 originally had pete dying no matter what, and the choice was supposed to go with nick or with alvin and luke, who were originally there helping with the fish traps
i think alvin was supposed to be killed in s2e2, and nick was determinant, but they changed it so both of them were determinant but had next to nothing in next episode
the next few episodes have calros, rebecca, and sarah always die, although i feel like sarah was supposed to have more to her
and then luke dies because bonnie is a stupid bitch who either kills him herself or gaslights a child into doing it when he's plain as day telling them to keep away from him so he can pull himself out
i feel like nick and sarah were supposed to be like conrad in s3, where they're determinant but can make it to the end depending on your choices, but this got axed during the myriad of issues s2 was going through
