Me too, it has lots of potential lore developments. Notice the use of a human slaves in the demon empire’s combat squads, I imagine they’re probably used for menial tasks like digging trenches, carrying stuff, and demining. It reminds me of Russia’s use of penal battalions as meat shields during the battle of bakhmut. Imagine the demons also have similar dedicated units of slaves and lesser demons they use for meat wave attacks.
