Physically they are equally cute.
I think Erika's knight/maid attire looks a bit stupid, but Maria's massive spike on her shoulder also looks stupid
Maria's french accent is cute, but Erika's love for the princess was also cute
So I can't cast a judgement until I see Maria's story.
It's the only class where I hesitate on which leader to use.
