>but of course you can't profit off that, or use it to control people, so it was systematically purged from civilization
Almost all Gnostics converted to Neoplatonism when it was invented circa 270 AD. What had been born from Hellenic sorcerers in Alexandria around 50 AD had merged into Greek philosophy by 300 AD. Gnosticism died out for the same reason that the "New Age religion" of the 1960s hippies died out: it was unstable and stupid.

>Islam was designed carefully to counter Christianity
This is correct. One could even speculate that the Prince of Birds (the prince of the spirits of the air) created it, seeing that Muslim countries have a disproportionate number of birds on their coats of arms (e.g. Albania, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, Sudan, Syria, UAE, Uzbekistan, Yemen). He probably wrote the forgery called the Apocalypse of John, seeing that he (Wodan/Horus) self-inserted:
>As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!” (Rev 8:13)
"Revelation" has some amazing advice to Christians:
>Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy. (Rev 22:11)
It is worth mentioning that every single one of the "Seven Churches of Asia" was taken over by Muslims.
>Former Augustinian friar and German reformer Martin Luther called Revelation "neither apostolic nor prophetic" in the 1522 preface to his translation of the New Testament
8 years later, Martin Luther was using it to destroy the Church. There seems to be a pattern here...
Islam is prophetic in the sense that it came from a deceiving spirit who seems to be obsessed with destroying the world
