The M8 is turning their reputation around but they coasted on bad engineering for too long. The twin cams should have had oil coolers stock like the M8 does. The Dyna was a step backwards from the FXR, yet the FXR was the bike that was killed.

The Dyna is unquestionably poorly designed but their weight and wheelbase make them stable enough, plus most don't ride them very hard. If someone does, they'll install a true-trac. I yearn for the alternate reality where the FXR stayed around and we got factory six speed, EFI FXRs with the twin cooled 103HO. THAT would be a fucking bike. I might have to build that if I ever have the money.
