It's mostly COVID, Censorship, and AI related.
I left social media. I consider myself a tech guy who would have fun on social media but honestly it fucking sucks now.

Then I see a mass push for data collection to train AI, and realize sarcasm and unwanted facts train AI to say things the people controlling it don't like.
So I left.
I have no plans on coming back.
Being treated the way I was durring COVID is something not easily forgotten or forgiven, especially by people who just move on to the next "current thing" and just pretend they were never wrong and I am being dramatic.
Yeah, it's loneliner. And honestly, not seeing the same brainrot everyone else is has made me realize that everyone is brainwashed, so it's hard to relate IRL as well. But you find solice in the little things more and more everyday.
I am viewed as a likable and funny person by most, despite no one understanding jokes anymore.
But it is hard to get close to people.
Social media is like having a shitty bitchy gossiping friend whispering shit in to everyones head 24/7.
No one seems to get that what they are seeing isn't a chronological order of people they followed and keep in touch with, it's a stream of shit the owners of the platform want you to see.
I'd like to see alternatives, but they always get hacked and destroyed in strange suspicious ways shortly after picking up steam.
So I've just stuck to playing games, watching occasional videos, listening to audio books and podcasts, some 4chan surfing, and some purchasing on Amazon as all I really do anymore.
Everything else is kinda dead (even 4chan to be honest). Any real friends can text me. Other than that I will just go out and explore now and meet people out and about. I don't use social media so when they ask me for mine I don't have much of an answer.
