I don't actually mind the slamming, Kiuchi isn't in a position of power like Kamoshida or Madarame were and is just looking for a way to lash out. It's just him loudly announcing his plans and gloating in public, followed by his catastrophic, life destroying slam before literally teleporting away makes it hard not to laugh at the whole thing.
Like, Tomoko supposedly can never play baseball again. But is anyone going to remember that over him literally saying "It's slammin time" during the boss fight?
