I have the same scope on my 10/22. I'm pretty sure I've got it on Vortex low rings and it's on the rail plate that came with the gun. The height is perfect for me but I've got the Magpul MOE stock on mine and I'm not sure how it'd be with a traditional Ruger stock. The setup works very well at 100yd but I've never tried shooting further than that.

I've got one too, but threaded and with the Magpul stock. I've been thinking about suppressing it and using it for turkey next season, popular choice here since turkey and deer season overlap so running a can is a courtesy to the deer hunters.
