Something that stands out is that the second lap in each race becomes a lap of another track. The person in the lead gets to choose between one known track and a random track. It then transitions back to the original track for the final lap.

Something else that stood out to me is the Gear System. To put it basically, you get six slots, with each taking up 1-3 slots. And it is fun to play around with.

Most of my other impressions are in comparison to MK.
