The economy is painfully sad, disheartening unless you play with day1 gibs that aren't available anymore.
I'm genuinely considering giving up for this one reason.
I look at the gem prices and the overall "math" of what I got so far from packs to project what I might need to pay and it's just insane.
I used to have every deck every expansion day one on old shadowverse so I'm really struggling here where even building one single craft longterm is looking bleak.
This in a game where play-ability of crafts take wild swings every other set is just too grim.
I don't see this being any different long-term since expansions come faster and we already saw what they did with old shadoba.
Every set or miniset had some must have 3x legendary that wasted your vials (not like I cared I had hundreds of thousands lmao), but realistically that sets a precedent.
I just don't trust things to get better.
I still remember the EXCITEMENT of back to back chest - gp - chest - gp - chest - WOAAH AMAZING TAKE 2 GP - chest - gp slog...
I don't know, someone who is more familiar with the "state of the game" please correct me, but so far just reading the cards and watching videos it seems like a worse version than what was base sv towards the end.
Let's no forget the AI generated slop we are getting as art lmao.
I genuinely regret finding this game a month later from a random suggestion on steam only to get all excited and my hopes crushed.
Now I'm too hyped to just forget about it, but I know I should just leave it.
