I'm not sure if he's just really good at coming off annoyed, or he genuinely did his best to tolerate the situation he found himself in because he got paid for it. He acted like an exhausted cashier who has given up on life the whole time. I felt the same way from the way his co-lead Susan acted. Such an annoying picture.
