It's sad when you realize just how much of the game's potential they slashed and burned just to get it out the door, only for it to finally come out when OoT was right around the corner. I really do love its quaint graphical and music style, they almost come across as a "literal" next-gen interpretation of an SNES game to me. I just wish they weren't stuck in an extremely hollow game.

Quest 64 was going to be a much more typical and ambitious RPG (by N64 RPG standards), but then the devs gutted the absolute fuck out of it somewhere down the line.
