Weird. I use Linux BECAUSE you can make a minimal, low resource installation that doesn't have a bunch of unnecessary bloat and telemetry constantly running. I like getting 13 hours out of my "10 hour" battery.
I just wish I knew about the BSD operating systems sooner, since those are even lighter on resources. I already have a gaming PC, so the only thing I use my laptop for is coding and listening to Youtube videos. Having insane battery life is very helpful when you want to work somewhere that doesn't have easy access to a power outlet.
