I've read "contrarians" talk about two things:
- permian oil producers trading at dirt cheap valuations
- chemical companies being very cheap

So what's a good way to invest in those without losing it all in case things continue to go wrong and there are bankruptcies?

Do you guys budget?

I just go by vibes and my expenses are kinda low
I saved around 50% of my after-tax income last year. It's obviously higher than people recommend but I also don't want to work until my late 60's.
I really think I can get to retirement in a decade if I keep this up.
