A montage of a planetary governer commissioning a band of mercenaries in cadian gear. Then *10 months later* screen. Hive ganger is holding the body of his friend (who we saw in the first shot) in a trench (very shallow and poorly built). The sky is warpfire red, his comrades are being killed around him by nondescript fire and enemies we don't see. a horde of Somethings is jumping over the trench (pink horrors) completely ignoring what they consider is already just dead bodies in the trench. Close up shot of main ganger grabbing his knife in the same manner as first scene. Full of anger He climbs his dead comrades to plunge his knife into a charging horror, and grabs an autogun off the ground to spray wildly until you hear the gun click out of ammo he grabs the knife back and with both hands plunges it into another horror before getting hit by a blast of warp red.
it fades to black to reveal the skeletal body of this ganger with his distinctive knife in his hands and stuck in a horror's skull. A tank rolls over his body and cracks his skull with no big fanfare. The sky is no longer red, any rudimentary trench buildings are just blasted into mud. Leman russes pass and one carrying a small flag on the back stops in the camera. It flutters in the wind and it zooms in on the company motto.
