Counter-point: There is nothing of the original 'cron left, which is why Szeras has been bashing his head against a wall trying to figure out how he can ascend from a physical body to god-hood. It's a husk that is programmed to act and think like the original (Well, in the high echelons in Necron society anyway) with no soul left thanks to the C'tan. Even if Yvraine wanted to, there is nothing to pull from it. As far as I know/remember, the dust boys still have their souls. Correct me if I am wrong though.
