I've been procrastinating the Waifei peninsula story since its release, and started doing it right now because I see myself missing out on a ton of events if I don't.
So I want to ask, what did you guys think about the story? Because so far I really don't see anything that's keeping me hooked. I fucking hate cultivation themes with a passion and none of these characters really interest me, with Shifu in particular seeming more and more like a Mary Sue the more I play.
Did you guys genuinely like it? If so, I will try to give it a chance, and blame all of the negative perceptions I feel on my own bitchy attitude. If not, I will blame the story and just skip it or pay minimal attention.
