Why is it so easy, casualized, signposted, and railroaded?

It takes a very deliberate effort to actually die to enemies or hazards in this game because they deal such miniscule amounts of damage while the good floods you with health, upgrades, and resources.

The game even specifically locks you in rooms solely to force you to proceed to the upgrade so you don't backtrack and get lost.

As a platformer? It still sucks

As an exploration game? It still fucking sucks

Who enjoys enemies that pose zero threat whatsoever? Who enjoys slowly checking every single tile of every single room to see which are hollowed out or destructible? Who enjoys floaty ass platforming with zero challenge or stakes? Who enjoys bosses where you just stand in one spot and facetank them while spamming missiles? WHO IS THIS GAME FOR???
