I don't like how acting is still extremely basic. It's not like acting was super deep in Undertale, but there were actually wrong choices to make. Your acts almost always add mercy in Deltarune, so there's usually nothing to think about, which causes encounters with regular enemies to feel very samey outside of the bullet patterns. Chapter 4 is especially bad because everything you do makes the enemies tired, so you just spam pacify and end every battle in two turns. This shouldn't be the case when we're 20 hours into the game. At least make battles take longer, or make the enemies deal more damage. If the playtesters really suck that much and Toby refuses to get better ones, then he should just add an easy mode so that the game doesn't need to suffer from him constantly having to pull his punches.
