fact of the matter is a simple backpack+rain cover works just fine.
I've gotten nearly 8 years with just whatever backpack i've got and a usgi wet laundry bag.
I just foolishly thought that by spending more I'd get something better than my already functional and proven system.

Just make sure you buy the wet laundry one, as it's the rubberized cloth.
