Absolutely not. The point of the story is for the characters to overcome their limits, which has always been a main theme of Umamusume in general. For Pokke, it's to stop chasing the ghost of her rival. For Tachyon, it's to start racing for herself. For Kiseki, it's to stop being afraid of disappointing her trainer. For Dantsu Flame, it's to stop doubting herself as the eternal 2nd place. Opera is just an obstacle during the last race, she isn't a thematic element at all, she's there to provide a threatening antagonist for the climax.
I do agree that Manhattan Cafe had almost nothing to do during the movie though. Still, your fundamental misunderstanding of a chinese cartoon for children is concerning.
