After quite a few years, Dragonball has returned to the top 10 worst chart, while MAWS has been eliminated. But is does have S3 and S4 next year, so plenty of chances to get back on.

For now though, we have 3 more months of Daima in the lead slot. Can it take the title away from Lazarus for most entries? Next to fall off is a Lazarus episode, followed by our longest standing entry, Black Lotus.

Anyway, new season of Blue Exorcist starts tonight, so that’s neat.

Unfortunately, ratings reports have still not returned and have not been posted since mid June, so I fear that after many years, we may have finally reached the end for Toonami ratings. But, I also know we have thought that before in the past, and a new source rose up, so I will be keeping an eye out for any new information.

Dan Da Dan starts tonight, one of the newest shows we have gotten in years. And assuming Bleach and Blue Exorcist move right into their next seasons, this should be the schedule that carries us into the fall. Which is nice, because it actually has a nice stretch of back to back good content. Been even longer since we could say that.

In a strange schedule update, Daima is doubling up on 7/19. I wouldn’t expect that to last long, they must be stalling for something to slip into midnight. And it just so happens, there is a panel for Rooster Fighter at AX today, and it’s not coming till April 2026. Aniplex panel was also a bust.

In other news, Sailor Moon has been cancelled. Seems those predicting its abrupt removal were partially right, they were just off by about a month. Naruto will likely be following it out the door soon enough.

Tonight we wrap up Lazarus and see if it can redeem itself in its final 22 minutes. Probably not, let’s be honest here. After that, we have not one, but two weeks of marathons no one asked for. That Lazarus one might give the ol Fena marathon a run for the record marathon low, but with marathon ratings no longer reported, we won’t ever know.

This week, One Piece cuts back down to one episode to make room for Daima and despite big talk from the Dragonball crowd, Daima did not deliver. Tonight, Daima slides into the schedule at 12:30. From what we heard at Annecy, there likely will be no other originals airing this year, so odds are Daima will be the lead show from July to the end of the year.
