here's something he mentioned, he said that a lot of game groups become cliques of the same people and they make it hard for a newer player to join something like the LGS game night because they agree to games the week before and play with their own interpretation of the rules and will only play what everyone else is playing and he described how he had to be a but forceful with people to cut that shit out as a manager 20 years ago
true or nah? I can definitely agree when it comes to the local LGS group, but the local gaming club (which is different to the LGS) is very freeform and will play most things and offer games to newer players and thus doesnt fit
maybe an LGS issue?
