I honestly don't think he can "predict the future", it is clear by the narrative that it is not something that happens. The only times God said something would happen in the future, were things that he would do, so it's basically just him telling people about his future actions, or predictions that are more based about high knowledge than actual foresight.
In fact, it would be foolish of someone to trust a person and gift him with many things, only to afterwards get mad that person betrayed him, or to get surprised by the erratic actions of some people like Jacob attacking him, or the Sodom people trying to rape the angels that were there to inspect the city. Even tests of trust, like Abraham would make no sense as he knew the result. And if Lucifer, who was close to him, knew that Job would never abandon his hope he wouldn't have bet on his demise
This "omniscient of the future" is more of a modern concept, or things that are said on chapters that serve no purpose but to give God praises
