Nah those guys were found to be complete frauds with modern DNA studies showing they're not at all a ancient breed or closely related to the dogs depicted on tombs of the Pharaohs. The Basenji is the genuine article to what the Pharaoh Hound claims to be.

I specifically said long double coats, the obviously super dense ones that huskies have for cold climates. Other canids in hot areas will have shorter less dense double coats. Point is getting such dense coated dogs like Huskies is a fucking dumb idea if you live in a hot climate. Something like the Basenji will suffer a lot less which is also a primitive lineage but for Africa. Plus a lot less shedding ruining the home.
