some DoTs are okay, like Higanbana which you can set your entire rotation to, some DoTs are fucking gay like old Demolish because the duration was so short the upkeep on it was annoying as a mosquito on your balls. DoTs themselves aren't the problem, just the specifics of how you're meant to use em.
