They clearly didn't, judging by your own examples. They just aren't the same kind of monk. Chen Stormstout was the first monk showcased in the Warcraft setting, by the way. That was in Warcraft 3. Non-Pandaren monks are the retcon, not the other way around. Now seethe about Pandaren superiority some more, outsider.
