To be fair, the tides and movement of water on the planet IS dictated by the moon.
I obviously would've preferred Columbina be orbital holy nuker though.
And I entirely agree they're being lazy hacks when it comes both to fixing or doing anything interesting with the game's core elements, pun not intended.
