Thinking about this ... I don't think this happened.
It doesn't take much in 52 years of marriage to say
>"Hey honey, you know you're fucking me in my piss hole, right? I am fertile -- we can technically on paper have children -- but you keep fucking cumming in my piss hole bro. I can literally feel my piss hole being fucked, stop it and also I keep getting urinary infections so please stop it. There is no way that my piss hole feels like a better fuck than my actual vagina, and please stop choosing to fuck my Goddamn piss hole."
Not hard. I mean, it's literally HER body, she knows where her fucking vagina is for Christ's sake, she can literally feel it, it tingles, it gets wet, it discharges; she had almost 50+ straight consecutive years of periods for God's sake; this is literally fake as fuck, funny though.
IF -- IF -- this was a true story ... the only explanation one can proffer is that she liked it, 50 years of liking it. Inspiring tale of human perseverance. Either on part of the man or wife.

In the case of the original Resident Evil remake that was released for the GameCube, I can see this argument being relevant, because that remake is a 10/10 on every single front and still holds up perfectly to this day graphically and in terms of gameplay. It's the ultimate 1:1 remake and it's fucking legendary.

For Resident Evil 2 & 3, it's a bit more nebulous and the conversation becomes muddied.
The remakes of 2 & 3 are great remakes, and they perhaps play better and tell a story better than their originals, but they are not the originals, and they are very different games to the originals simply because of the camera perspective and ability to freely and accurately aim, as well as the movement options being broader.

That said, the wider similarities -- inventory management, ammunition management, puzzles, key item collecting, emphasis on avoiding damage -- are 1:1.
I think they are about 80% right -- the remakes are better games and do in fact make the originals obsolete -- but people still would like that nostalgia.
>Hi there, we're The Institute.
>Haha, get it? Like, the Massachusets Institute of Technology except ... it's in Fallout haha!
>We like to be the good guys here at The Institute.
>So we made up this genius plan of making highly advanced robots using our preserved scientific autoclave habitat with advanced working pre-war technology and hydroponic farming capabilities and pre-war specimens untouched by the radiation from the world above to identify and replace perfectly random individuals who are living in the ruins above.
>That random scop seller in Diamond City? We killed them and replaced them with a 1:1 perfect copy of their psyche and physical appearance using synthetic robots!!!!
>We are doing this because um well uhhhhhhhhhh DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH fjfjfkghgagkajfnllssssss;'a;aa;,amalfmfffsggggggjksf.
>In summary our activity is the last best hope for the wasteland and all mankind.

Even now in 2.3 they still don't know how to make their own game and they scrapped things like full respec and removing mods from guns. And crafting mods as well iirc as well as making crafting non-iconic guns worthwhile. Just gutted the game in 2.0 for no fucking reason. And now I never have enough RAM for quickhacks and the entire new 2.0 intelligence tree is garbage compared to 1.6 e.g.
Also the "outfit" transmog system is overlaid on top of what is now functionally a "transmog" system because armour you equip does NOTHING except cosmetic appearance (in a locked first-person game)
Sorry, I'm being rude?
Enjoy your quantum numbers, king...
