good time to remind people of one of my favorite and most important life lessons. that you can try goodness on like a jacket, see if it fits. if you don't like it you can take it off anytime. the past won't change how it fits, it's gone and can't come back, and the future isn't written yet. all you have is now and the choices you make in it.

guess no news is good news for now. been a really ugly market beneath the surface, major selling going on, poor breadth in this market. that can't last forever. but it can go on a long time. test of discipline for holding individual stocks. much higher prices will come in the future, and it allows for buying opportunities, but this is a real nightmare for trading individual tickers, unless you're holding one of the ones they're using to tentpole the indices up with. i know the mercury retrograde doesn't really effect stock prices, but the people who do manage stock prices like to play games, and are probably aware of it, and coordinating the dancing with the music is something they often do, and all the mercury retrogrades this year have been pretty bearish. maybe tomorrow they can start buying big again, i hope so. didn't watch much of this trading day but it was ugly, and that has been the trend for a while. gonna shower and then dry off in the sun, have a smoothie.

financially speaking, eth above 4k is a very big deal, it's an important level and basically the highs of the year, very good omen for the future, the continuation of the bull market and smaller cap assets, which remain extremely cheap and beaten down. if things can settle down between the great powers that would also be incredibly bullish, we're currently not trading with russia! china is still in a major economic funk! things can get a whole lot better with better attitudes, and i see that coming along. hopeful and optimistic that the future can be bright and peaceful, not dark and violent.
