The fusion inherits Amy's name and personality and Tails' species and skillset (minus super genius, think more generalist mechanic who can fly).
Though there are some other traits from each as a part of them. For example, she runs an internet vlog called Tailstube and uses it to act as an independent journalist reporting on all the events that happen in-universe while chronicling her adventures with Sonic.
