Lackadaisy is shit, visually the show is boring AF, all the designs are just boring cats with little variety, I fucking hate Digshithole Circus and Hazshit Hotel but to give credit where credit is due at least shows can or at least try to be visually interesting and have variety in their designs. The only people who think this garbage looks good are 14 year old Warrior Cats fangirls. It also angers me that Glitch is only focusing on loreshit with their shows, if they really wanted to show that they have variety why not greenlight a wacky cartoon? I'm tired of lore being everywhere, give me something entertaining and funny, something wacky would seem better for a marketing standpoint anyway, all their shit shows are due to end when they can just keep a wacky show going 4eva and continue to merchandise off it.
The biggest obstacle we must overcome for a second animation Renaissance to truly happen is to ditch the loreshit and go back to classics and truly understand what makes a cartoon work, that helped us during our first animation Renaissance, take influence from classic western cartoons to truly showcase the western cartoon identity, countries like Japan love when western animators make shows that look western rather than shitty action Tumblr fakime.
