If you didn't triple dip you wouldn't be experiencing such a fall from grace right now.

While I would rather be able to easily farm up to floor 5 with glimpse casually, I can't say it's not an unwarranted nerf, that shit just destroys everything casually with little effort, same with rupture.
Though, depending on the level of the nerf, it may still be possible to fast farm, even if damage gets cut in half for example. The issue is if they just transform glimpse into something else entirely.
