nigger talk to your arms room and actually fill out the 2404 the correct way so they can get new parts for the weapon
actually learn how to maintain the thing, don't just douse it in CLP and then start bitching about how it jams
also protip from a former 240 gunner, belt feds obviously run way fucking hotter and faster than mag fed carbines, use something like transmission fluid as lube instead of CLP because that shit will boil off halfway through a live fire
you right about the mag problem though, my joes had the best luck with PMAGs. Also blanks just fucking suck and will jam up bad because they're shorter in length than a live round and will get caught up while chambering
