Y!S!Tiki and Mae are getting new art. Tiki's Summer banner is completely canceled this year. If you were hoping to get merges from anyone from her banner (especially S!Linde) then fuck you, lol.

since I got like 4 units I'd want to give the new sword to, which is statstically the best banner to save up and color snipe for? b8 banners, or rearmed/attuned reruns? I'm guessing it depends on what's running in each banner but the rearmed/attuned reruns tend to be more focused, right?

Nah, I do have some sword units I want to update, mostly it is just awkward for inheritance limits and what to do for the b slot for those units. I could inherit my one spare copy of laguz loyalty onto machyua, but then I'd be missing out on everything else she has inheritance-wise. I wish they'd just make it so you can inherit as much as you want for fucks sake.

Is it a Mythic only banner? My gut tells me there is a chance it will just be an Emblem and a legendary or mythic. Perhaps one of the sisters +Emblem, but not both.

With the sort of pipeline a gacha game would have, they'd need the schedule planned well before the time they'd know the results of CYL. It's easier to blame the fanbase for voting in OCs we were obviously going to get. And it shouldn't be a surprise that anything involving this playerbase voting ends up with some of the stupidest results, like all the times F!Edelgard had placed high in polls long after she had been powercrept.

That's not true, in fact the opposite is true.
When Engage came out, there was A Hero Rises: Engage Cup, which had people vote on their favorite alts of each Emblem character.
You could not vote for Valentines Alm or Halloween Sothis, despite them having Celica and Byleth as backpacks.
