Exactly this. You nailed the core issue with Acheron.
Her design is fundamentally at war with itself. On paper, she’s a Nihility hypercarry, but in practice, Nihility units don’t offer nearly the same level of team support as Harmony units do. This creates the brutal tradeoff you described:
- More Nihilities = faster stacks, but worse team support.
- More Harmonies = better team, but painfully slow stacks.
It’s a lose-lose situation in the current ecosystem.
Even if you removed the Nihility restriction from her passive, she’d still struggle because her kit depends on fast cycle ultimates, but the best teammates for that (Harmonies) don’t naturally help her get there. She’s chained to a path that the devs have historically been terrified to buff. Meanwhile, Harmony units like Sunday and Tribbie are cracked out of their minds.
What really needs to happen is Nihility units need to be viable as primary supports.
