Chat, am I cooked?

A few years ago, I did an Engage ironman where I used the DLC, but no base game emblems, but I kind of "cheated" on that by inheriting skills from the base game emblems. I want to try that run again, but cleaner by not using the OG emblems for anything at all. Every other form of degeneracy will be on the table though.
Just trying to figure out what's the earliest I can feasibly beat the Tiki, Chrom, and Soren paralogues though, and what's the latest I can put them off for before it becomes too risky to attempt.
