theres no real point trying to make a hybrid puppet build if your not adding in assassin or puppet shield. Im only running puppet shield+orchis and puppet shield is great at shutting down aggro or being cheap to combo with other stuff later

take out 1x cannon and both apollos and put in 1 bullet. I did spend vials to craft 2nd orchis, up to you if you want to craft 3 though and puppet shield even though im not playing a puppet/artifact hybrid deck is still super solid since it counters early aggro and its a cheap removal spell you can combo with later stuff or with orchis if you still have bonus point

pic related is the current one im using, puppet shields helps quite a bit since it counters sword/abyss on curve before you can play alouette and its cheap to combo with other removal or orchis later on

I mostly play artifact with orchis instead of puppet+artefact but have you considered using puppet shield instead? really good to contest any aggro board on turn 3 and its cheap to combo with other stuff for removal later on
