God I fucking love every single game vs Rune being the exact same shit where they drop Anne into Anne into Kuon into Kuon. Every single time. They never ever brick. And if you survive the second Kuon it's right about time for them to Cocytus D-Climb your ass. Seriously, Kuon is one thing, but why is Anne and Grea so grossly overpowered? Like, compare them to any other legendary 5 cost. Aragavy MAYBE clears a board and is a 6/5 body on evolve that also smacks you in your own face. Salefa is a slight heal that does an "okay" board clear on evolve and is a 5/5 body. Albert practically doesn't count as a 5 drop, dude does basically nothing unless he's enhanced unless you just need a little bit of storm damage to close out a game early. Why does Anne get to have the best effect AND summon a fat ward unit AND have pretty big stats for a 5 drop? It's absolute bullshit an evolved A&G gets to survive a calamity breath. at least ralmia needs you to have 3 artifact followers. the rest are just sticky bodies, burn, removal you can casually throw out and win the board. feels low quality

Abyss - Midrange variants require you to have a board for them to do anything and the aggro ones deal damage to themselves making roach math easy
>Even(?)Rune - Their wards are pretty easy to get through but are annoying. Should aim to beat them before 10pp
Portal - Only Ward drops at 8 with orchis so aim for setting up a win condition by turn 8 that accounts for orchis or the 3hp heal guy
Of these two matchups rune is definitely easier, but I feel portal players should utilize their fuse units better. The 1/5 ward guy is probably really obnoxious

So far the only thing I dislike here was that the guild reward system is a bit grindy but after seeing it in action for a week, it's a lot better than I thought. At worst you can just not grind for guild rewards to not burn yourself out. Monetization is also a bit questionable but ultimately not really any worse than any other card game even if a big step down from the original.
Fundamentally I don't have any problems with the card game itself which is rare.

I know it's a hard deck to pilot so it's probably just a skill issue but I really don't get how I'm supposed to chip certain classes down as forest to put them into lethal range when they either make favored trades/burn cheap removal into my fairies before I can even attack with them OR they apply so much pressure that I have to trade them myself to avoid losing immediately.

The deck has so many moving parts you have to align and putting fairies to face removes some of those which makes the whole process easier. Aria evo is essentially evoing a fairy early game, and you always want to evo to push for more damage if you can get away with it

So... is this a bug? I was playing against a Havenfag. At the start of their turn, their statue popped and out came the falcon. Then they super evolved it, dropped an Unholy Vessel, popped it, and then attacked me with the falcon.
So... how the fuck was the griffin still alive? They popped a vessel while it was out and it didn't die. There's nothing in the text on the vessel, the bird or anything else that would give any clue as to how it was immune. But they definitely did it on purpose- the bird could only attack me directly because they cleared out my board first.
What the fuck just happened? Is that some kind of exploit?
