I haven't played VP, which is a shame because I heard it's great game.
I used to mock yellow paint on newer game but on Eroge it's different, You need something obvious like pink font or love bubble because most Eroge are designed ask jerking material first and a Game as second.
Hiding them is stupid especially on older engine where auto dash and fast-forward dialogue is not default option
