dont play a lot of these but I do play a lot of WRPG's. one of the deaths I always found the most bullshit is how in Ass-Effect all your team of cool bros will die if you havent maxed their relationship and completed their side missions. I learned that the heard way no-spoilers.
another shitty two characters death was in Fromsoft games. Sunbro and Onion Knight get pretty bullshit deaths if you continue helping them but the only alternative is that they never complete their goals. wish there was a happy/satisfactory ending for them.
I hate parts in party-based games where its "if you have this character in your party during THIS cutscene then they will leave your party and will either die or simply be unusable until several hours later".
