And even a number that small was still enough to completely floor gigacorp servers once upon a time due to their daily GOOD MORNING SAARS routines.
Companies like Microsoft have been actively working to give internet access to MORE Indians every day for years, whether by providing them with the tech or the job opportunity to immigrate to countries where internet is accessible, because they majority grasp on a very sizable and lucrative market that doesn't require wrangling the CCP.
If you thought the internet was borderline dead already, just you fucking wait. It CAN get worse.

Because he was a mortal trying to do a god's work. He'd ultimately reach the same conclusion that Yaldabaoth was set on enacting, that the only way to achieve human harmony is to strip the humanity out of them, making them placid sheep who are content with having absolutely nothing. No desires, no ambitions, no spirit, just a drowsy state of bliss. That way there can be no conflicts of interest in trying to fulfill everyone's desires simultaneously, which is what Maruki is constantly bumping into during the trial run of his reality, as he's constantly having to rewrite people to address when a desire gets in the way of someone else's dreams, or if a desire is inherently detrimental or harmful to someone else.
Now whether or not this is a bad thing hinges entirely on whether or not you value free will, and that's where the discourse over whether he's right or wrong truly comes from once you get past the rape/unrape memes.

hi, OP here.
I've been thinking a bit about it too as of late, but that's mostly because I feel as if my life is slowly careening off the rails mentally, that I needed something to genuinely ground me as horrible things keep happening in the world.

I'm glad you found your stride man, cheers.
