Stowed away on a helicarrier with sails being ferried across the Mediterranean by Storm creating winds, taking them from the safety of Africa to Europe where they're going to assault the stronghold of Apocalypse before he ends the world even more than the everything-electronic-stops-working-even-Spider-Man's-webshooters-for-some-reason apocalypse did. The sea is haunted by Ghost Rider pirates that impale people on chains and drag their souls to hell or some shit.

Since this is a Spider-Man thread, here's a more recent ridiculous alternate universe moment where all electronics are destroyed because of some magic shenanigans happening at the centre of the planet and somehow that also ruined his MECHANICAL web-shooters. But what's worse was that it didn't kill him or end up with MJ dying when he couldn't get to them, or anything like that. It was just an excuse to give him giant stupid steampunk webshooters in the next issue that takes place years later.
