I know solicits have to get down early because that's the nature of the industry, even back before the internet days but I often feel like now that we're in said age a lot of the mystery going forward is just GONE. It was one thing when it as just owners and insiders and I mean I certainly could have avoided this thread but it's almost impossible to avoid spoilers just as part of general discourse these days.

I was talking to a friend about this subject when he was trying to recommend me some Sanderson stuff. He argued that it was impressive that he can put so many books out so fast but I can't help but think of that old quote "If I had more time I would have written a shorter letter" and that if people like him weren't rushing to get a book DONE so he can start the next one he might actually be able to fine tune it and not have it be a door stop.
