simulcast "barely acceptable enough to not actively avoid" shit is good enough for most people, and nobody wants to wait

fuck, I remember when it was a big fucking deal for subs to come out for a currently airing show before the next week's episode aired

then the "within a day or two" speedsub wars, then same day, edited simulcast, and finally just giving up and straight ripping/using simulcast shit which is where we are today

To me personally, the saddest thing is that there are no Japanese captions for this show. At least I haven't found a single TV station or streamer that lists it with captions. I'm one of those three and a half anons who actually use them, yes.
