That's not what Ragnarok is doing though, they are half assing it, it's neither here no there, they don't commit to the theme. With half-measures, you get the worst of both worlds. Not to mention, it shits on the first game where characters, for the most part, didn't speak like they came from contemporary TV or capeshit.
