Aztec/mayan themed necrons that I have been holding onto as an idea for a couple months now. I want to mix and match 40k necron bits with AoS seraphon weaponry and their big cool fucking platforms for leaders and commanders. Aside from lots of wooden bits for facial ornaments and a fuck load of various hyper colorful citadel paints based on aztec attire, like jaguar warrior deathmarks and constant body paint over warriors
Their fluff is that they're a bunch of archeologists and collectors who went mad and start believing their species failed a great test by the old ones to achieve immortality after taking the short route presented by the C'tan, however the old ones scattered behind a plan B for their kind to achieve fleshly immortality and control over the warp all over again, it just might be scattered. Now that they have grown aware of the error of their ways after the great sleep they scour around the edges of the galaxy for any trace whatsoever of the old ones and their technology, enslaving slann and the like to their will. They believe that to reverse the flesh change they must sacrifice as much flesh as the amount their species gave away during biotransference in big elaborate cerimonies, some species like humans and tyranids have less "soul value" though. They worship a great machine left behind by the old ones by the name of Quetzolomiatli who guides them upon their grandiose great plan B to bring their kind together. Yes it is a shard of the void dragon.
Im only fielding Imotekh recolored as /mydude/ and Trazyn(he likes them) as hero guys interchangeably for lore reasons
This project would take too fucking long and im just fresh out of university trying to find a place in the job market so I don't quite got the free time as of now sadly, maybe during winter I will get the ball rolling
