Do the big Vtubers realize how good they have it?
I am not saying they do not deserve it and I’m in no position to criticize as I don’t donate to streamers out of principle (I am poor and the big ones are genuinely multi millionaires)
I know many of them worked very hard to network and polish their talents to put them in the positions they are in today but their current jobs are very easy relative to their viewer base.
I just wanna support people who acknowledge how good they have it and are genuinely thankful to and feel incredibly greatful for their fans. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
My oshi shows that appreciation to us, or at the very least does a good job lying.

Do Vtubers actually dislike their parasocial fans?
I’m able to tell myself I’ll never be with my oshi but they have to realize that by being an idol they’re pushing the parasocial boundaries and making fat cash off of it right? That isn’t to say they aren’t entertaining as well for other reasons but they’re not just another streamer I could check out. The relationship was different from the start

Vtubing is inherently predatory
They’re not bad people but they’re not paragons of virtue. Understand they’re using you for your money and selling you intimacy for massive profit. Go under the assumption that they all have romantic partners and while they may appreciate your support you will never be more than a screen name to them.
Work on yourselves and don’t dedicate your life to your oshi when she won’t do the same for you
