On the contrary, I consider this divine retribution for fools that kept pushing the narrative that instant speed spot removal is bad. Then when suddenly faced with a creature that's succinctly answered by Fatal Push, Lightning Bolt, Swords to Plowshares, Tail Swipe, or Pongify, there's only complaints that's it's a game of "Do you have it?"
Guess what buddy, this is the game that 1v1 constructed has been playing for 5 years now, except there is no "it" to have, because all the spot removal costs more than the threats.
